I was out and about today and...
I stumbled across Fraser, MI. My wife had a bridal shower in Clinton Township, and I dropped her off on Romeo Plank and proceeded to cruise down Groesbeck Fwy while I waited for her, and there it was :) I ate lunch at the Grand Azteca, went to Best Buy, and then back to get her...hmm, didn't see one...

Pimpin Spree: Are the vacuum line and fuel line both rubber hoses with red meshed casing? I have two coming off my carb - how do I tell the difference? Also - I don't know anything about adjustment screws, and their tightness/looseness? Which ones are the adjustment screws? And how do I know how ti...

How 'bout checking where the clip is set for the needle on the throttle slide. Move the clip higher(making the needle set lower) to richen up the mix a bit. Is this correct? I thought that lowering the clip to raise the needle would make it richer. The needle is tapered going into the nozzle so it ...

I got piston, rings and gaskets ordered. I just got the cylinder honed up. The exhaust port had lots of carbon built up in it, and I also see that I didn't get the exhaust pipe seated correctly on the jug. I didn't know that there was a recess in the jug for the gasket, so I tightened up the exhaust...

Kinda hard to tell in pics, but I think that the cylinder will be okay. I obiously will have to hone it up good. This thing may have been on the verge of going before I got it. We've only had it running since Monday. I'll check the exhaust. All of the plastic around the cylinder was intact(if that's...

Yup, it's pretty messed up. I don't have a clue what may have happened. The ped sat for perhaps 15 years before I got it. It has an air cleaner with the foam element, and I cleaned and reoiled it. It's entirely possible that crud was somewhere, but I cleaned everything up pretty good before running ...

Lost Compression
Morning All, I got my kids '86 spree running pretty good over the past two weeks, with the help of this forum. Last night he went out for a ride, and it quit on him. When he got home with it and told me that it had quit, I went out an looked at it, and without an official compression test, I can tel...
