WONT START
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ONE OF THE BRAKES IN WHEN TRYING TO CRANK. CHECK ALL THE CONNECTIONS INTO THE STARTER RELAY. CLICKING RELAY
1. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FULL VOLTAGE TO THE RELAY. EVERYTHING CLEAN AND TIGHT. 2. YOU CAN POP THE METAL COVER OFF THE RELAY AND CLOSE THE POINTS BY HAND TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE WORKING. TESTING STARTER
TURN KEY ON AND MANUALLY CLOSE POINTS ON STARTER RELAY. IF IT SPINS, IT WORKS AND THAT WOULD TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE A BAD CONNECTION SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE STARTING CIRCUIT.

NQ65 HO SPREE
HONDA TOLD ME THAT THE CORRECT DESIGNATION WAS THE ABOVE AND THAT THE MODEL WAS A VERY SHORT RUN WITH A HIGH PERFORMANCE 65CC ENGINE. HONDA APPARENTLY DECIDED THE SPREE FRAME COULD NOT HANDLE THE INCREASED PERFORMANCE OF THE TURBO ENGINE AND BIG BORE.

THE ENGINE ON THE SPREE RUNS OPPOSITE FROM THE DIRECTION ONE WOULD EXPECT. WHEN VIEWED FROM THE CLUTCH SIDE, THE ENGINE TURNS CLOCKWISE.

HOT RUNNING
SURE SOUNDS TO ME LIKE IT IS OVERHEATING WHEN PULLING A LOAD (YOU). I WOULD TRY TO MAKE IT RUN A LITTLE RICHER, RATHER THAN FOOLING WITH THE PLUG. THE RICHER IT RUNS, THE COOLER IT RUNS.
RAISE THE JET NEEDLE ONE NOTCH BY MOVING THE CIRCLIP TOWARD THE SHARP END AND SEE IF THAT HELPS.

SOMEWHERE ON A SCOOTER WEBSITE, I FOUND THE NAME OF A MANUFACTURER IMPORTERS OF MOTORCYCLE GAUGES. CAN ANYONE HELP? I THINK THIS COMPANY WAS IN CANADA, BUT THE GAUGES WERE CHINESE, KOREAN, JAPANESE???
