Also why wouldn't an air box mod work on a Spree today? Used to make a noticeable difference back in the day. Just curious. Guys have had a hard time getting modified airboxes / pod filters to work with the stock scoots. So you were porting the carb... any guidelines on how much material to remove ...

The only drawback to doing the swap in my opinion, is that the suspension on the Spree feels unsafe compared to a larger bike like an Elite S/SR. The rear brake cable is off of an Elite S, since it is longer. An '87 Elite engine mount was used to mount the engine. The shock mount was also relocated,...
