Re: No True "Plug Chop" for Scooters

Makes perfect sense Wheelman. I've always admired your logic. I suppose one could do a 10 second wot on a center stand with moderate braking applied to simulate a load. Then cut the ignition. Of course this is wear and tear on your brakes, not too much I'd imagine. I wouldn't recommend it to some of...

Re: Yamaha Recon prototype

That looks awesome! I dig the steering geo workaround and of course the Minarelli! Stoppies would probably be outta the question...... front brakes don't look real strong. I wonder if it was designed to partially collapse or something? Really neat though!

Check out that wastegate! Stock? Go Audi.

So I'm 28. What part of the statistic does that make me? Why are we doing this again?

Re: Not again . . . . . .

Baka; I thought that's how you did a plug chop. Run at wot for a short bit and kill it. She runs up to top speed pretty quick (no gears) and of course I re-jetted! The kit came with a 90 & 95 so I installed the 95. It blew up the first bbk cause the stock 80 was still in it. So I'm going jet hun...

Not again . . . . . .

Rattler woes have no mercy with me. I was performing a plug chop topped out at 55 mph in front of my home. As I let of the throttle to "chop" it, the bike chopped itself for me. It soft seized conveniently in front of my garage. Now I want you guys to look carefully at the stock airbox des...

Re: A Professional opinion ;)

Wheelman: It's comforting to know those revs around so scary. I'm still weary of my new motor but with every post I read I become more confident. Baka: I'd say 8500-8900 is the sweet spot. Perhaps I'll load some heavier rollers in there unless I can find a pipe that's tuned higher  :naughty...

d*** Baka! You are the man! Could you place some bets for me? I just got my Pocket Tach from the makers of Tiny Tach. Turns out their office is a mile from my house. So this is WOT until 50 mph. I'm surprised it's that high. I saw 9420 max also. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r232/meissn...
