go to your local rite-aid or luckys. most grocery stores have oven cleaner which has lye in it and is perfect for the application.

What did you use to secure it? I am using zipties right now but I only got some small ones. One already snapped.

Got a new plug today. Didn't change anything but when it's warm out, I get 29mph sometimes.

What else can I do?

Just sprayed oven cleaner inside the exhaust and let it sit for an hour after almost topping it all off.

I'm going to grab a plug tomorrow from the shop.

I know I shouldn't be asking this but it's just really hard to find guides for stuff like this.

What is a plug chop? What do I need to do it and How do I do one?

second, Where can I pick up a bigger main jet and how much would it be? also, will this decrease my gas mileage?

It just seems like every time I hit 27mph, it backs down to 25mph and then back up to 27mph. This happens over and over no matter what sort of road I am on.

Cleaned out the dirt from the jet and it went up to 27mph. Haven't gotten onto a straight but tonight I will try...

Running lean around 27mph

So I just bought a Honda Spree off a friend and it's really nice and all but he warned me about a potential problem with the speed around 27mph. A friend of ours was riding it and dropped it(odd, I know), and since then, every time it goes up to 27mph, it feels like the engine is just giving out for...
