Single cylinder turbo 2 stroke diesels have a one lobe camshaft and a single exhaust valve, similar to a 4 stroke in operation, in the combustion chamber. The charged air is sent through the uncovered cylinder port at the bottom of the power stroke pushing the exhaust out of the open valve at the to...

Thank you. I was leaning towards that conclusion myself but I'm no expert when it comes to 2-strokes. All in all 2-strokes seem appealing because of the ease of rebuilding and low amount/cost of parts, but we'll see. Though whatever I do I think I'll shoehorn it in a spree just because I like the wa...

Thank you guys for trying though you answered a question I did not ask. To Clarify imagine two engines one being a small 2-stroke and the other being a larger 4-stroke both making the SAME max HP (not the same displacement). Now which one would get better gas millage? In other words, which stroke st...

Hypothetical question?

Hypothetically... If you had a 2 stroke and 4 stroke with the same max hp which would get better fuel economy? I think a 2 stroke 50cc and a 4 stroke 90cc may be comparable. Anyways hit me back, thanks. -Ryan

Is there a timeline somewhere that can tell me the engine types/codes, parts compatibility, etc... of honda scooters like the spree, elite and aero. I hear sa50, se50, dio etc... all the time but I don't know what motors come from what bikes and what the differences between them are -ryan

I am not a machinist but I know people. I got access to a true cnc and giant lathe at college whenever I want. I also know another guy that has a manual mill/lathe that owes me big time for finding it for dirt cheap and fronting him the down payment to buy it. So what do I need to do? What do you al...

Thinking about getting a spree.

I've been looking into getting a scooter then a moped then a goped now I'm thinking about getting a spree. I really dig the idea of 50cc's of fury hauling butt without braking the bank in fuel costs but I also like the cvt setup on the elite. I would get an elite but spree's are much easier to come ...
