yeah its because your using the stock ramp plate.so the rollers have just a little play.take the pulley out and hold the ramp plate and pulley and shake it.you hear the rollers shake a little.I thought you were going to put that pulley in your dio? Welp, i put the OKO variator on my 88 Honda elite LX. I had to use the stock ramp plate. I used the guides and whatever weights came with the new variator. It went only 31mph. It did 28 tops before but thats with the stock variator and some trashed stock weights that were worn down to metal hehe. So...

If you dont care about damaging the paint, then go ahead and use a metal hammer.. But yeah, you really should take the wheel off or risk bending the center of the rim and then your screwed.

Actually, just now i realized that the rollers look different from what i'm seeing online. And now it all makes sense. The rollers are bare to the metal. meaning the material that usually encases the metal roller is gone! Thats the stuff (Plastic film) i seen melted on the inside of the variator tha...

What a nightmare.. Just realized this now that my rollers are all toast. All bare to the center of the roller! Just the metal lol. No wonder the thing is only going 28MPH max.

you need those ramp plate guides in there.the ramp plate will eat at the variator and you will have metal shavings in the trans area and you will damage the ramp plate.Don't run it with the guides out.
