I removed the filter with the hoses still attached and poured in some fuel and it barely dripped out the bottom. It was either remove the filter, or pressurize the gas tank

Update: I had to remove the aftermarket filter. For some reason it decided to become a restriction.

Did you install an aftermarket filter?

Just today I had to remove the small filter I had on my spree. This was a lawnmower type that I picked up at the hardware store, and it seemed like it was made from a meshy cloth material like an oil filter for an auto. My Spree would run great for a few blocks then putter out and stall. The problem...

This is my daughters Spree, I recently sprayed it flat black. She is 15 and can cruise 37 mph (gps) all day.

Got a vacuum nipple cap set at autozone for $2.00, capped of the manifold nipple and so far rode three miles today and everything was great.
