hi I got a new 85 Honda Aero 50 engine and put it in a spree and needed an aircleaner.the jet is an 85 and I've had some exhaust and intake work done it is a four bolt intake.It is a valve cover breather that is wrapped in a thin layer of foam

Ok new update sorry it's been a while. I got the new cylinder and piston on,replaced all panel with black ones and got it run in and driving. More pictures on the way.

Ok thanks it worked fine before but I still looked over the wiring and all looks good. I will try unplugging the wires in the morning to see what happens.

Hello everyone, I have an 85 Honda spree and it will not start. Everything is good, a new engine and a charged battery. When you turn it on everything works but when you push the starter button all the lights die and it doesn't crank and the starter doesn't spin at all. The starter engages and dies....

Ok update, wiring is done. Had to re-pull the plastics and rebuild starter button, replace front brake cable and get a speedo cover.

I have another build on here. It's called my build:The Spero I was going to put an aero engine in but found an elite for cheaper. I will post more pics on that build tonight.

Ok thanks, I will clean the engine tonight and then ride it to see where it comes from. I also will try to find some reed material to make some new ones for it.

Just recently put in a new domed piston and cylinder in it and got 125 psi in compression out of it and some bottom end. Now I think I blew a crankcase gasket, because it sprays oil from below the exhaust port and has 115 to 110 compression, but still runs fine. I might get the reeds like you mentio...
