66cc kits unfortunately don't come with a head piece so the stock head will raise the compression quite a bit so it's normal to see that the temps will rise (higher than a 72 or 82cc kit). All you need to do run a higher octane fuel, if you're super paranoid you could tune the bike to be a half-step...

I use them in all of my personal bikes. Just make sure you order the correct ones (#708). Installation is simple, remove all of the metal pieces and only use what comes with the reed packaging, you will need 2 for your CT manifold. The reeds may or may not make a major difference however the most no...

From what I can tell you had a very lean condition, that kind of bog is similar to running out of fuel which is the most drastic form of a lean condition. Can I ask you for a list of modifications (if any) on your bike? Bore, pipe, carb (size in mm), etc. Mechanically you'll have to take apart the h...

The short answer is there's no aftermarket parts for the 150, if it's running good in stock form, that's pretty much your realistic limit.

The other alternative that was suggested is custom porting, but the problem with porting is that you won't benefit much when you're using that stock pipe.

Whoa champ, one thing at a time. Did you make any recent changes to your motor before you took it out for a spin? What mods do you have on your DIO? A simple thing you can do is pull the spark plug and look at it. Does the kicker lever move? If not then you have a really bad seize. I'm confused as t...

2008 - 25 = 1985? No wonder you use oil injector and premix guesswork. Wow, and I thought my math was all messed up. The best part is he even said "over 25 years" which implies in excess of 25 years. So that'll make his Spree a 1982 model?

did you happen to see Bear45-70's other topic ? Arnadanoob, what you think and what you know dont mean anything to Bear. He knows what he knows and he refuses to learn anything about the scooter tuning world. Oh dear, I just finished reading that thread and it clearly looked like someone who appear...

Tell me what your total oil-fuel ratio is at what I said earlier on your bike, at 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and WOT please. What I want to know is what the combined ratio of your injection + premix is. I know for a fact that you don't know how much oil in relation to the ratio of fuel is. Before you say an...

The solution here is to do a DIO swap. Lots of Spree's here with DIO strokers and what not.

If I could run 25:1 like Kenny, I would but getting my hands on a pilot jet big enough is not worth the price I need to pay to get them in. Running 32:1 using Castor 927 already has my DIO at a #60 at 1.5 turns out. Don't get me wrong Kenny, ideally it should make power at your ratio than what I'm r...

It's fine with me with his comments, after all he's entitled to his opinions and I'm not here to take those rights away from him. He can believe and say what he wants, but it won't affect how I'd respond. From my POV he thinks and believes he knows everything, that's fine, he wouldn't be the first p...

I wouldn't sell you anything anyway. I retired over 6 years ago, so your 15 years is lacking in any number of ways, including experience. Your contention that injection + premix will not working as well as straight pre-mix is so ludicrous as to be not worthy of an response. A real tuner can make ju...

I've never worked on a boat or outboard engine before so if you ever see me giving advice about them, make sure to stop me haha. This is just my opinion but professionals are tradesmen, we make a living doing our job, it does not mean we're smarter or better than an experienced backyard wrencher, in...

I missed nothing. You said and I quote "I'm willing to bet that your bike is not running at its optimum, in fact I'm certain that I could tune your bike a lot better without using that injection setup with straight premix than you ever can with your current injection + premix setup." And ...
