yeah thats exactly what i was thinking about. Good note about the variety of temperatures. Yep, same reason why you cant put cold water in ur car when ur overheated.

I was so suprised how quickly it made a difference, but now makes me wonder if there are ways to actually ensure more air/cooler air reaches the engine. What about cutting out the small circle where the fan spins to allow more air to run its pattern around the fins but keeping the rest of the plasti...

i too think it is a vaccum problem..... remove the vaccum line (bottom, smaller hose) from your carb, keep it attached to the petcock on the other end, and suck on it a little with your mouth, you will feel/hear gas traveling down to your carb; open the drain valve on your carb, to make sure gas is ...

did u have to pay someone to mill out ur head? if so how much was it?
Also the NQ50 service manual says the torque value should be:
Cylinder Head Torque N*m (kg*m,ft-lb) 8-12 (0.8 - 1.2, 6-9)
...so if Im reading this right it says 6-9lbs? urs leaked at 11lbs? huh?
