i live in redlands, california, thats southern...
my carb was about 85 euros, which is about 120 bucks us, and the shipping was 15 dollars. i placed my order on a friday, the next thursday it was here....

good god, education is overrated. a masters degree and he still cant figure out scooter cooling systems??? i guess you cant polish a turd. engineers do so love to over-analyze things i guess. i just went out, started my aero, and held a piece of paper up to the cooling intake. guess what? it sucked ...

i have a lathe, so i just chucked up a set of stock rollers, which are made of vastly superior materials than any aftermarket ones ive seen, and drilled the metal centers out a few thousandths...then i weigh them on an accurate scale, and viola, lighter rollers...i guess if you dont have a lathe you...

50cc.eu is badass! i ordered a carb from them and it was here in less than a week! their website is very current, and the guy who runs it, marcel dekker, is a nice dude. they have all sorts of stuff for nb50/se50, just look up honda vision....

is this thing stock? modified? is the plug the correct heat range? is it a good plug? the needle only controls mid throttle mixture. what helped me out was actually marking out 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and wot on the grip with a marker and a reference line on the plastic fairing to determine exactly what need...

oh yeah...the stock aero carb is tiny, the bore is oval shaped somewhere around 14X17 or so mm. actual flow area is probably around 16mm or so, just a guess from eyeballing it. its plenty for a stock 50. i have a 21mm on my 65cc cylinder with extensive porting.

hmmm a genuine mikuni for 31$? im skeptical please dont buy garbage china carbs from ebay. they are garbage. they are made out of god knows what kind of terrible pot metal, the seals are frail and dont really seal, and their manufacturing process must involve some sort of antique circus equipment, b...

my buddy has a japanese jog with the same horizontal minarelli motor, with minor exhaust porting and a uni filter, does 50 easy and is barely slower than my built * aero...zuma weighs much more but is very buildable...my brothers does 75 and sounds like a supercross main...athena 70cc, arrow pipe, 1...

so...i have been running 20:1 in my motor since i got it back together three days ago, its got a badly scored 70cc malossi cylinder, 21mm carb, all sorts of transmission mods, carbon reeds, case porting etc...and this thing is faster than its ever been! wheelies like its a trials bike, 60mph top spe...

on my 87 aero, i gained about 5 mph on the top end and it climbed much better than stock...i had to lighten the rollers a bit though...

clutch springs will help keep the motor in its powerband, variator tuning should help too. are you talking about the pilot jet? if the motor stumbles, hesitates or bogs between 1/8 and 1/2 throttle and then takes off at WOT, first try raising the clip on the needle, then start looking at the pilot j...
