Re: Unboxing a CMR 47mm AF05 BBK
i wouldnt worry too much about running a stock crank with a 47mm AF05, both of mine get run very hard, ive had my aero running the malossi cylinder for almost 2 years, no problems at all. the af05 is limited with exhaust selection, with the Leo Vince sp3, it doesnt get 9k, so its like a built in gov...

Re: yamaha jog $500
i had a 86 jog, sold it for 500$ a couple weeks ago. i do agree that it pulled hard, it did do about 40 stock, i fitted an aftermarket zuma variator and it hit 45 pretty easily, i think a simple build up would have made it pretty quick...if its in nice shape id snatch it up, i love the old duck bill...

Re: load resistors- turn signal
just get an electronic flasher designed for leds, instead of the thermal one. those resistors are like putting a toaster inline on a circuit. i found mine on ebay for 8 bucks or so.

Re: elite with ruckus motor swap
ehhh, these ruckus guys arent so concerned with geometry and handling, elitedio. looks and cool factor are way more important! they love long wheelbase for some reason, i went on a ride with them and had to wait 10min while they caught up through the canyon! haha

Re: Seeking Mikuni TM Smoothbore Expertise
i believe you will have to run it in the manifold, a ruckus im working on right now has the same carb, its on a zuma motor though, and there is definitely no provision for an oil injection port. makes sense seeing as its a race carb and all, hes got his oil going into the manifold. easy enough to dr...
