i had some car paint lying around and i was gonna use that but then i found this paint and im happy i went this route. it looks awsome. plus i think car paint will melt plastic.

i used that fusion paint and it seems to work well.after i cleaned that front panel with acetone the paint finally stuck. the only problem with that paint is it is real wattery and runny.if you take your time it works well. i will try to get pics when it is finished, but im not sure how to get them ...

if the tire is off the ground and it spins at idle it is pretty normal. when the tire is spinning at idle and you hit the rear brake the tire should stop and not stall the eng. if the eng. stalls then you have some binding.

the carb is pretty much the same. 87 has a single wire connector on the choke, and earlyier models just had 2 wire connectors.it doesnt matter you can always wire in the choke to any year and it will work. the colors are the same and there are only 2 wires.

what year is your vette? i have a 76 i am trying to restore. i need that paint for my bumpers because they are polyurethane. i am gonna try that krylon fusion on the spree anyway because it is better than what i have.(its half red and half black)

oh wait, the carb is off an 87 anyway, because it has the single connector instead of the 2 smaller connectors.(my spree is an 87)

they are about an inch long,metric thread. not sure what dia but you can figure that out by the size of the holes in the intake.

go to tech documents and read how to clean the carb, it helped me. make sure there are NO PLASTIC OR RUBBER PARTS WHEN USING CARB CLEANER,it will eat right through the float,o-rings exc.also check the plug.
