this happened to me. i got it out by shaking it and turning the crank back and fourth. most likely the oil is what is making it stick. get soome carb cleaner. (spray can type) and flush it out. it will also clean the crank case and rid the oil.

the black spring like piece between the bottom ring, and the piston. i would put it in, since it expands the ring. its there for a reason.

its pretty simple. take a 1/2 POWERFUL drill and a 3/4 extension. cut the female end off. (its hardened, so you will need a grinder) use the proper socket to fit the flywheel side. this should not run too long, since this would eliminate the fan. you can find a good used starter for around $30 on eb...

turn the throttle cylinder around 180 deg. until it drops in further. that will fix the throttle issue. with out a clip the pin can not do its job right. is it loose? if not you might be fine.
