Re: New rubber floor mats (possible)
Hey, I like the idea of that aftermarket mat. Maybe after you figure out that spacing issue, you could make some kits and sell them :) As for that all black spree, that looks exactly like mine with all the black parts, except my wheels are silver. But after seeing those black wheels, thats next on m...

Hey,
I have used the BPR8 HSA for a while now and it seems to fit my bill nicely. I often take long commutes on the Spree been at WOT for several miles. No damage to report thus far

Re: Just got a 1987 Spree (Good Condition)
Hey, Enjoy the Spree! There alot of fun. Im having more fun working on my 86 Spree over my 93 Mustang, lol. As for getting your Spree up and running, stooley13 covered everything. There is a thread around here where a 85 Spree was used as a test bed for mods that you may want to read. http://hondasp...

Re: probably a dumb question....
Hey,
Id pull the Throttle Valve out and twist the throttle grip and see if it operates smoothly.
When i rebuilt my carb, i had that issue where my throttle grip was sticking.
Hope this helps.

Hey,

Re: Shopping Spree (a long, not very entertaining story)
I took almost all the webs out, I think I destroyed a few new species of genetically altered Honda spiders, which I've named Spreeders ROFL!!!!!! That was soooo funny. The story was great too. Im trying to convince my wife to let me buy her a Spree too but shes not fond of the idea after nearly cra...

Re: Waiting at Red Lights
Hi,
I had this issue on Sunday when i went for a 5am ride on my Spree.
You could get creative if your waiting a while for the light to change. You could start do some jumping jacks lol.

Re: rear wheel?!?!?!
Hi, I just used a breaker bar and a 6 point quality socket. I just sat in the Spree and broke the rear axle nut loose. When you are ready to put the rear wheel back on, the proper torque spec for the axle nut is 47 to 58 ft lbs. Again, i just sat on the Spree to do this. Hope this helps somewhat :)
