I have a 84 Aero, she runs ok, I have cleaned the carb almost evey spring, I have Bystarter troubles now, and finding the parts...almost impossible!, I have owned mine for over 15 years so I cannot say much bad.but parts are a huge problem.

Hello, I don't mean to jump start this post..but, can anyone steer me in the direction on a good "Tested" carb and bystarter for a 1984 Aero 50, I got one off ebay but it is for a 1985 unit they are not the same at all Honda changed the Aero in 1985, so most engine parts for 1983 and 1984 ...

hey all,I have looked in the tech pages and thanks for all the great info. but my 84 areo is getting me down. it won't stsrt unless I use starter fluid. the electric start has not worked in 3 years, I took it apart cleaned everything and charged the battery and now it works, the scootwants to start ...

I know I know, I am glad I found this sight, but I already bought the carb and a spare BS, Both were bad. anyhow I got the scoot running today with bad BS and my electrc starter is working agin after not for 2 years??!!

I have been using yamalube for injecters, for about 10 yeasr no problem, But I do think I wil go to the Honda GN2 next.
