It would run with the stock filter but I had to take the top completely off the air box because the stock air box was to restricted for that big of a main jet, at that point it was almost usless to use the stock air box because the filter would not seal properly. I also had to turn the air screw out...

I cant get my spree to run unless i manualy choke it, it wil start and run a few secons then die, if i let it sit a few minutes it will start again a few seconds and die, if I start it and manually choke it it will run untill i take my hand away from the carb intake an then dies.while its runnning I...

Spree info

Ok, new to the forum, had a spree back in the late 80's , I have just aquired another spree. I want to do some upgrades on the engine, things like bigger cylider, aftermarket exhaust, bigger carb, gearing and so on. I know some might say just get a bigger bike but I like to tune on "toys"....

I have recently aquired a honda spree, 86 or 87 i believe, I am vary familar with 2 cycle engines having raced them for about 20 years now and was wondering if anyone has ever used castor instead of oil, i would like to take the oil injector off and run premix, that way i know the engine is getting ...
