Mr. Pibbs. My buddies '93 looks exactly like yours! I see you have done quite a bit to yours already. Can you give me some info to pass along? As I posted in my other post, he's wanting to get gears. Where can they be found and how much did they cost ya? Were also in the Tampa area....

He's ordering some 9 1:1 gears today. After we change 'em out I'll post up to see if there's a change. He's also doing a new belt. Wait! 9:1 gears will not fit if this really is a 1993. Those gears were intended for 94+ engines. Yeah, he called VT Cyles to order them and he said they wouldn't work....

Get a battery and see how it runs with the electric start. Ive had my case off before to change some parts. When I put the case on I didnt have the kick start gears lined up and it wouldnt kick start. I had to take it off again and make sure everything was lined up before I tightened it back up. Now...

I just got mine a little over a month ago...

I ordered my Keli from VT Cycles. $50 shipped and it came with the ramp plate & 9g rollers.

Just clocked myself the otherday at 50 MPH. Road radar set up.

I called VTCycles to order a OKO vari and they were sold out. I ended up getting a Keli. There was a slight improvement but I still need a new belt....
I got the vari with 9g rollers & ramp plate for $50 shipped. I just ordered 9:1 gears from them too for $50 shipped.
BTW, I have a 95 SR.
