I have an Shoei RF-1000, all black, that I wore on my Honda 900RR's. I haven't worn a helmet on the Elite yet. Actually, I have only riden it 3 or 4 times around the neighborhood.

My goal is to get more top end speed from it without getting crazy.
Would the best things for me to do off the bat be the rollers & 9:1 gears?
Im guessing heavier rollers but what weight? I'm 175lbs and the scoot cruises at about 33MPH now.

A '95 Elite 50 SR.

What is the difference with the SR and the other models?
This thing is quick off the start and I can hit 35 on flat roads (while ducking down).
I'm gonna do some searching to see about getting more top end out of it.... Anyone got some idea's off the top of their heads??

ok.... I took the Elite to a friend that knows quite a bit about 2 strokes. He said the its not getting good compression and suggests rebuilding. What is everyones opinions on rebuild kits? Who makes them and where to get them? What else should I have done while its apart? I would like to go the lea...

I haven't ran a compression test but it seems like there should be enough. Ill do the oil thing and try to get a compression tester and test that.
