Replaced the main with a #84 i had and it solved the problem, can now reach the 35 mark on the speedo, but a new thing is happening. When i try to exceed that mark it backfires and looses power.

i got a #95 with my kit, but im goin to try out an 80 something i have laying around, I did however tape up about half of my intake and it did cruse up to "30" Thanks for the advice ae86guy, you saved me from making another thread.

Spree boggin at speed
Spree is doin good except when i hit "25 mph". Its revving up real good up until then and then it just looses powah and boggs out. I have played around with the carb, seeing if it is a tuning issue, but i cannot find out what is wrong.

Checked my compression today, and it was averaging around 135 psi.
Sooo... i started to reclean everything
still no go
decided to change back to my origional spark plug and boom!

Fuel, Spark, Nothing...
I have fuel and spark, so it is probably the compression. I dont know currently what the comperssion is but im getting a tester tomorow. What and where should i look for if there is low compression?

There is a small gap between jug flange and exhaust flange, to seal it, could I put some hi temp gasket maker in there? somewhere i saw a thread about this, does anyone have any experience?\
