Ok, as soon as I get my 38mm socket from work on monday I'm going to pull that off. I may just put the orignal spring back on for kicks n giggles.

But whatis it at now, about 300 miles and the springs gone? :(

Well, VT cycles put together a nice setup for me.

This is all I have left of the brand names, not to legiable. http://scoot.globaldc.com/bore.zip

1000 rpm spring. Belt's brand new, and still in beautyful condition.

Brand name, no idea, but VT said it was their most common setup.

Weights are good. VT Cycles gave me a number of different weights, and i've been switching them out trying to find a good set. These are stock weights atm. I've tried 9 gram, 8 gram, 6 gram, 9's make my top speed lower, and extremly lower pickup power, 6 grams are just as bad. Best I've used have be...

72cc bore kit and other mods, was doing 59ish, now 46

As most know, I put the 72cc kit, did trany mod, main jet, pully mod, clutch spring. Was doing about 55-59ish on this setup when I first got it on the road. Have broken it in gently since then, but top speeds are not nearly as good as they usted to be. I now average a top speed of 45-50, and 53ish w...

Blinkers wont come on even if it's ideling. Take it for a ride or rev it up high, and the blinkers will work then. Blinkers require a lot of power to run when the bike doesnt have a working battery. Also, battery at 4 volts, I can almost gaurntee you that some of the plates have sulfated beyond reco...

If it was a 4 stroke engine, you could redkneck it, but in a 2 stroke, as noiseguy said, you'll damage the engine worse.

Probially poor compression/leak. The oil is enough to fill the gap and give enough preassure for it to start. Once it's started, the heat causing the piston to expand enough to keep enough preassure to keep the enigne running. Once it cools, repeat. Probially needs new rings. Take off the cylinder a...

Well, didnt have to do it.

Turns out, it was lack of air auctually. Took the cover off the airbox, and their she goes.

Ended up drilling 18 small holes in the airbox and it runs beautyful now.

Workin on a 84 Aero 50, Runs, but nothing over 10mph....

Well, I fixed bikes with this problem before. But this ones a stumper. Cleaned carb. * n span. Shiny, alls good. Cleaned air filter. De-carbonized cylinder. Tool apart cylinder and removed piston, alls good. No scraches, scraped, everythings like new (the aero has 2,000 miles on it, and was was amaz...
