Instead of expencive NOS, how about a camping size canister of Propane, with a small tube connected to the air box, with a adjustable dial to control flow of gas? Just a low flow of gas should give a good kick.

I checked the air cover. It's always had a problem. The orignal owner thatput the first 120 miles on it, stripped all the screws for the air box. So I put a moldable clay type cauk around it and used a special filler silicone to fill in the screw holes, and then proceeded to use a larger size screw....
