When you unscrew the bottem drain screw, it wont rush out, drip drip, or mabe a somewhat faster drip drip drip is all you will get, that is normal. Kick Starting it while it was still draining was a bad idea, basically, the SeaFoam removed gunk and crap in the carb, which is then floating around in ...

Yep, I run Honda's own oil made for the scoots. I have to order it special since noone around here carries it (the ones that do, charge $13/quart) so I order it for $5/quart. I Took the screw out again, and used carb cleaner spray, sprayed the carb out, with the drain plug open, so contaminants woul...

Make sure theirs oil in it. Running it that long with not enough oil, or if it was not giveing the engine enough oil, could have caused some problems. I've run mine at top speed for 3 hrs straight in the past (Excluding minor potty breaks).

I keep a small bottle of SeaFoam in my Scoot at all times, as well as I keep a small bottle of gas in their as well. Not much, just enough to get me home, or to a gas station (About 10 miles worth of gas).

Speed Bogging, Think it's carb, want confirmation.

Hello all, need opinions. happened twice now. Rideing top peed at around 34mph. hit some rough road for about 1 second, then back on smooth road. Then ped starts to die out. I let up on throttle, and bike stops dying. I blast it full throttle again, speeds up for about 1 second and starts to die out...

mikeb, I agree with you that it can cause problems in extremly dirty engines. However, if used on a regular basis, keeping the deposits down in the first place, then you will avoid that problem. I put SeaFoam in my truck, Wifes Car, Mother N Law's car, and Sister in law's car after every oil change....

I have a Different Effective way of cleaning the Carb.

Hello all, I have a different method of cleaning the carb that was quite effective. First, completly remove the idle adjustment screw. Next, use the carb drain screw to drain the gas from the carb. Next, take a can of SeaFoam, and a Syringe, and inject 50 cc's of SeaFoam into the carb through the id...
