I'm planning on putting my buddies SA50 rim and brake on my 86 Aero 50 for better stopping power....
Is the brake line for the SA50 the correct length or would something else work better on my Aero?
Or can I use my existing cable?
He hasn't sent me the rim yet so IÔÇÖm just inquiring ahead of time.

Re: My 86 Aero 50 "Silver Bullet"
Hello All!! Wow... still haven't completed this scooter. I'd love to if it weren't for the constant 95+ degree days in DFW area! I tried to bring it inside...... wife threw me back out! I guess I'm still side lined for a while more until it cools down a bit. Learned a lesson too! Don't use a 2.5 tub...

Because my order got screwed up too many times and I had to pay shipping twice. I can't add taz to my list. I did start this thread and I'm only speaking of my own personal experience. Others have had good luck with this seller. If you don't agree with my opinion then you should start your own threa...

Re: Moving to TX?
Learning quickly how Texas gets around state income tax. The 8.25% sales tax (6% in Michigan) toll tags for toll roads (no toll roads at all in Michigan) I guess these are the trade offs to paying state income taxes. Hey... I guess itÔÇÖs up to you on what roads you travel. You don't have to take a ...

Re: Moving to TX?
Novs, you will find that Texas will grow on you, including those cows and horses and grass. And there's nothing to describe a Texas sky. Oh BTW, if you think that was a long drive, go ahead and stretch to the tip in El Paso. It will be another full day. It takes longer to get from Texarkana to El P...

Re: My 86 Aero 50 "Silver Bullet"
Could you go into the torch method you talked about? I'm not 100% sure I can do it on mine, as I have numerous ABS cement repairs that might not stand up well to heat. Sorry to butt in here Novs - hope you don't mind. The pre-torching only applies to the polypropylene or polyethylene parts like the...

Looks good! I just found a place to live so I have somewhere they can send it to now.
How about some pics of it with the brake light and signals working?

Re: Moving to TX?
So I'm now in TX looking for a place to live. What a drive! I have never drove to TX before... What an experience! Up til now I had Ohio being the most boring state to drive through. That all changed going through Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma. Missouri I have to say...Going through St. Louis look...
