I did some household door knobs and hinges last summer (saved me many, many hours!). I let one set run on the charger overnight one time (Ooops) and had a majority of the paint come off as well (also did a number on the rebar grounding rod :oops: ) I don't know if it was rust under the paint that he...

Do you have a set of feeler gauges to check the gap? It is really hard to get a sense of the small differences (tens to hundredths) by eye.Madman wrote:yes it's the piston ring. The gap is the main point!

So you are saying once the scooter is running the tail light AND the brake light function normally? It sounds to me like the brake light starter connection isn't working. Or perhaps the starter is just bad...?
