OK, this is a used scooter so I dont know what kind of history it has, but it seems like it cracked once, then was welded, and now has cracked again in almost the same way. should i get it rewelded or should i invest (not that i have nay money) in an aftermarket pipe?

I bought a dio 2000 sk50m 3 days ago. Its been really great until today. I was going pretty fast (too fast) down a long slope at full throttle, and the sound of the engine changed. when the switch is on low beam, there is no light. when its on high, the high beam is on.
