Re: Harbor Freight carrier

i've logged a LOT of miles with bikes tie downed on trailers and i recommend some sort of arms like the ones i added to the thing..
without them you'll have no pivot leverage to secure the load.

I've heard these motors will use a CR80 piston, so I want to check with Wiseco and see if they have an overbore piston/rings for that bike. If so, I'll have the cylinder bored up one size and see what she does.

remember it's going to be the early aircooled CR80 piston you want.

Re: Starting 87 SuperSpree

i have an Aero 80 and to me it's just not that impressive of a power plant. not trying to burst your bubble here- just an observation.
mind you the Spree chassis is a lot less weight to lug around so you may be onto something.were all behind you here!

Re: Harbor Freight carrier

mine didn't have any instructions! :naughty:
it seemed to me that it should have had more
of a wider mounting footing.
can't be secured too well and on the back of a motorhome...
didn't want to arrive at the destination
and the scooter be missing! :surprise:

Re: Pocket bike tuned pipe build

i used, from the looks of it, the same one on my Spree. it feels like IF the motor could rev out farther it might make some power.i saw 32 mph once when i was holding my mouth just so so... DO NOT attempt to simply "bend" the header pipe. it will collapse. yes you will need a Spree manifold...
