Re: Spree 44mm bore kits?

I agree, with my spree i can pick it up and carry a short distance if need be. i cannot carry an elite for my life. That make a huge difference in the city. I also have the only spree in town, or so it seems, everyone drives those made in china rigs that end up being lawn ornaments after 400 miles.

Re: spree lighting problems

so, would running a larger battery in the spree cause any problems? It didnt cross my mind before, but i was wondering if that may have lead to my regulator failure? Its a $25 battery from walmart for a snow mobile.

Re: new spree project

when i first got my spree i had a similar issue. i was able to slightly turn the engine over, however you could tell that it wasnt a ''smooth movin' well oiled machine''. Every time i poured gas into the engine it ran out a rust colored muddy mess. what i did was remove the carb/intake/exhaust and i...

Re: spree lighting problems

It was everything I expected for that price. On the second use, it started emitting a foul black smoke. Usually I kid about stuff like this, but I'm dead serious. I'm just lucky nothing caught on fire.

Re: spree lighting problems

i have no way to test the voltage right now. being so tight on cash, and only having the spree as transportation, i think im going to have to go with some sort of macgyver battery powered set up until i get enough capital to fix the old girl.
