Re: Did ring replacement, but compression still low

just curious did you ever try to start it up after you put the rings in... as long as it runs right and making sufficient power who cares what some gauge says :coolcruise:

Re: want to change my carburator nb50m

i would also like to know if there are any non-ct manifold options, heres a thread from goped nation where a member claims to have a crf50 carb on thier 86 aero http://www.gopednation.com/forum/showth ... p?t=286468 is this possible and would thier be any benefit other than an upgradable pilot jet?

you shouldn't be using the E-start with the engine running, which is the only time your light should be on

Re: Alternative Battery For '84 Spree

i know that there is a difference and a reason a boat/rv battery isn't used in a car so i believe the same would hold true for a an electric scooter battery vs a gas scooter battery, now its true i know next to nothing about electricity but im pretty sure theres a reason why a cordless drill battery...

Re: Need help on my 87 SE 50

you probly knocked the baffles loose, if you can find a foot long drill bit you can slide it in through the rear and drill the baffles out

Re: E85?

just thought id add since no one mentioned it alcohol and oil don't mix (except plant based like castor/olive/canola oil etc.)
don't have any experience with e85 but i doubt 15% gas would make that much difference thats why they make HEET for gas, and ISO-HEET for diesels
