Scorp pipe likes that heavy center spring and its a hard pipe to tune your transmission set up with. It takes alot of guys a while to get the right trans set up for that pipe. The newer scorpians are kinda junk compared to the first generation scorp pipes.

Hondabond the plug and hold the plug in with a washer. The earlier made plugs you would have to tap in with a mallet i guess they just got sloppy in producion with the newer ones

Re: Deuces 450.00 Dolla halla Build 2000 Elite SR
Dont waste time porting that 50mm jug or matching the boost port or touching the intake window. Tune it correctly and run that cylinder until it craps out. Then go buy a mhr or corsa and match the boost port to that if you have to. Intake porting is hard to do and takes porting 3-4 blocks before you...

Re: Red Eft Performance
Graphite keith has been around for ever. Before he was red eft he went by a different screen name aka losthope. Ive always scratched my head on why he sells parts for 40-80 dollars lower than market price but i can say he is making little or no money off us. Fantastic seller and easy guy to do busin...

You need a 90 degree dental dremel to port the transfers correctly.

Re: 2001 Elite S 50: Big Bore Recommendations
A 50mm BBK makes a HUGE difference in acceleration. You can get the jump on most cars when the light turns green, although the Corvettes will gradually pull ahead :-) <-- joke Watch you don't upend it if you bang on the throttle! The larger BBKs (50mm bore) require a larger exhaust system since the...

Re: Running Pre-Mix w/ Oil Pump Delete: Smoke issues normal?
Too much oil will lean your a/f out as well. More oil doesnt mean your bore wont overheat and fry. All it equals is more lubrication not less heat.LoveMyHonda wrote:Good deal, just dont mix too little oil. Too much will equal a new plug, too little will get you a new cylinder.

Re: 9:1 Gear Lubrication: Gear oil or Motor Oil?
Well I always just use the honda specified 10w-30, but its probably not all that important so long as you have enough of some type of lube in there since its just some gears to change ratios in a scooter. Weight and viscocity are very important. Even in scooter gears. 10w-30 sythetic is the best wa...
