Re: SPREE TUNING
You should have let me know you were having issues. First, get the bike running on the stock muffler. Then swap on the pipe. The pipe's design will work fine with whatever jetting / intake combination that you get to work with the rest of the engine with the stock pipe. The lengths on the pipe are ...

Re: SPREE TUNING
okay well ive put in a smaller 90 jet and it still doesnt have very good take off. So i lowered the pin (or raised the clip). The take off is a little better but still not that great. Do i need to go down to an 88 main jet? or lower the needle 1 more? i checked the plug after a 1/8 mile run (half th...

Re: SPREE TUNING
currently running 95 main 40 pilot feels to me to be rich still but i dont want to risk damage to my new kit by running to lean without doing plug chops.tazland001 wrote:What size jets you running in your carb?

Re: SPREE TUNING
I usually do a tank or two of fuel myself at least before I do a plug chop. A cylinder head temp gauge is your best friend for breakins like that so you have an idea if its getting too lean by showing the temp raising. If you were running really rich you would have had a bunch of raw fuel being exp...

Re: SPREE TUNING
Sounds like a pocket bike pipe issue to me, those pipes don't work to rev up worth a darn if the header length isn't dead on. Could be carb relatated but I'd ditch the pb chamber and try an original exhaust of you have one. I did one of those pipes for my express with a stock setup had working pret...
