yes the bike starts fine with the kick start but I have not brake light or electric start capabilities while the bike is not running. But it will kick start whether the ignition wires are connected or not which I find odd.swimmingfree wrote:is the kill switch on???

Make sure you have the wires from the harness connecting together not the wire from the switch. Did the lights ever work with that setup? Sounds to me that you enabled only with jumping only two wires together. I would get the manual and get the schematic out and start tracing. You may need a title with more contacts on it, maybe 3 sets so you can mimic what the ign switch actually does when ...

okay today i made some changes. lowered the pilot jet to a 35 and adjusted the needle down one from the middle (so moved clip up). And it ran alot better took it out for a 4 mile ride and it took a while lol. I put a temp gauge on the head it ran at around 145 C. but at 1/2 to a quarter throttle she...

Didnt you get that carb off bear? Sometimes certain carbs just dont work on all applications. This might be one of them. That is why I stick with the pwk carbs because they work. I dont think im overcarburated there are people who run 21 and 24 carbs on this similar set up ive tuned this carb to this similar setup before just cant remember what jets. i have the ct intake and everything so going back to the original setup would be like 10 steps backwards.
