I have a few friends that work at various shops equipped with dynos and i'd like to see where my bore/pipe combo is making peak power and such.
From what i've read, locking the variator takes the trans shifting out of the equation and gives a more traditional dyno plot.
Anyone done this?

Re: New top speed!
Well, so far its gotten up to 375 and then i let off. Wasn't sure if it would plateau or not, and didn't want to find out!
I just realized i havent ran a compression tester on this thing yet. I gotta get on that.

Re: New top speed!
Thanks!
Question though, the temp gets pretty toasty when trying to run that fast. Can people actually run those speeds and keep the temps under 350 at WOT?

Re: Mini-stroke Stock bore
I have a pg long. The other stuff i have on the block is a kelli pulley, 7:1 gears, SEF ramp, zx trans, koso clutch, 1500 center / 2000 clutch, ct chrome mani, and a 28 oko. Idk if it'll run well but the stock bore is all i have, and the old owner had a 72 polini corsa but siezed it so its un-useab...

Re: Opinions needed. Is my corsa running hot?
Just ran out and mega richened it by moving the clip down twice. it absolutely killed the bottom end, way too much fuel.
When at speed the temps creep up again.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say I need to try a larger main?
Btw I'm the biggest carb newb ever.

Opinions needed. Is my corsa running hot?
I recently installed a few things on my elite. Namely a corsa kit, 24mm oko, pg short exhaust. I eliminated the oil pump and am running maxima Castor 927 at a ratio slightly greater than 32:1 The jets i have in the carb are a 50 and 120. My trailtech guage (attached under the spark plug) says the en...
