Just paid insurance on it. Full coverage for $79/yr. Same price as each of my 650cc Honda Hawk GTs.
$40, hmmm, let me think about it That's pretty good ROI.

Re: ****Official Picture Post****
Someone posted, "Scooter for Parts" Out of curiousity I went to check it out. He said it didn't run, and just wanted to get rid of it since it was taking up his garage. I never seen a scooter so HUGE!!! Turns out it has a longer wheel base than the Honda Goldwing, haha. I complained that i...

It is a bolt on kit made for the HELIX. All you gotta do is paint and you'll have a bike exactly like the pic. Crazy stuff!!!

Re: Honda HELIX Owners???
I saw the same Helix cruising around town 3 times this weekend. I have never seen another one. Elite mopeds and DD50s all over the place. No Yamaha JOG sightings

Re: Dream Moped/Scooter
I like Honda Ruckus too. My friends do the common 150cc 4 stroke GY6 mod w/fatty conversion, or the uncommon 100cc JOG type 2 stroke swap. Expect to pay $8000 and up for a ruckus project with motor swap, all the JDM parts, and Live DIO front end conversions etc. Kitako, Takegawa, Daytona, POSH, BOW...

Re: Honda HELIX Owners???
HELIX = FUSION (JDM name) Same bike. Never changed in design from it's intro in '86 until '09. You know a bike was made right the 1st time when, a company like Honda doesn't changed it's design for decades. It's supposed to be the 5hit in scootering. 1st bigass-streched-lowrider-maxi scooter on the ...

Re: Do you recommend the aero 50?
I've had one. Eehh... "S" FTW! Way more storage, AF16E motor, looks better, aftermarket parts galore, higher resale value. I'm sure you can find an "S" for $450 in CONUS. AERO performs worse than the "e' since its heavier. Best to drop in an AF16E, but hard to come by.

Re: Finally got a dio of my OWN!
Nice find. Best of luck on your build. Believe me it doesn't look that bad. Liquid Cooled monster  Try to stealth mount a small radiator behind the front nose cowl and istall black mesh to cover the gaping hole you'll need to cut out. Run the hoses out of sight. Keep it sleeper looking. Don't...

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
you can also get a cpi-gtr 50 same size and with a 70cc bore kit, mine does 90mph all day long plus its a very big legal moped. 90mph and 90kph is a big difference  Regarding OP question, the 250r is a great bike in general. Very common bike to see in Honolulu, Hawaii since you don't really nee...
