Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?

Awesome Mr. Motormike;

I know you will keep us posted...

Hey, I do have a shiny just like-new headlight assembly... Hmmm...

I hope you pick the NS up; it needs a kind hand working on it. Looks like its had a rough life, and the odo says not any road time... :(

Later, Jon

Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?

The saddest part? 471 miles on the clock; males me want to cry someone did that paint "work" to that little NS. And the paint on the pipe... I guess that was for the "TIGHT" effect. I've said duct-tape is "kentucky chrome" so I guess krylon is texas chrome. Yeah, when I...

Re: Possibly picking up a 1982 MB5. Any options?

Tate,

Im thinking the MB5 / NS50 / NSR shared the same stator.

If so, I have a spare one. Are you sure you have a bad stator?

If you want to see pics, shoot me an email at TE37scag@aol.com

Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?

Before ya post up any parts dude, give them a good cleaning. Ive always found clean and shiny parts sell better on the 'Bay.

For cleaning dirty parts, a bath tub, scrub brush and dish soap comes in handy...

(if "motor-wife" will let you use her tub. ASK FIRST!)

Re: What kind of Helmet should I wear?

I'm a full-face Arai dude all the way... Ive actually only owned 2 types of helmets in my 20 years of riding; dirtbike "motocross" type and full-face... And 90% have been Arai. The other 10% (2 helmets) were Shoei. BOTH Insanely priced, but both well worth it. -comfort, safety, style, and ...

Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?

-just when I thought my bike was close to being completed, a small snag pops up. -To install the rear-set plate adapters, the OEM footpeg mounts will have to be removed, a.k.a. cut off. (the factory footpeg mounts are welded to frame) -luckily I have a spare frame! -last week I removed the factory p...
