Re: No power to anything.. lights, horn, turn sig.. Nothing!
what scooter do you have. There is only one fuse. If the light bulbs are blown it would prob be the rectifier. I would also check the fuse wires for a short. If the bulbs are good check the ignition switch.

Re: Spree has spark, compression, and gas. Still won't start
You need to do use a compression tester. Compression range is 90-120. If the bike sat then there is a good chance oil leaked into the crank case. Oil in the crankcase can bring up the compression and once the bike starts it will run then die and you won't be able to start it again. So I would get a ...

Re: Getting the Tazland BBK, GEARS, + MLM ran on a dyno
Right on. I am glad you are testing these kits out. You must have read my mind. These kits don't need to work for most people but all people. The directions have evolved over time. When I was growing up people who showed me how to work on dirt bikes always told me better to run rich than lean. That ...

Re: Getting the Tazland BBK, GEARS, + MLM ran on a dyno
I think I'm gonna do some testing and post a video. I just got a stock carb and intake for my spree because the one on my bike was the 21mm carb but I sold it. Funny how I have the original 48mm BBK still on my testing spree from six years ago. Me and my sons beat the crap out it and it still starts...

lol grumpy.
G9 is 100% right. Just slap a keli variator with 8-9gram rollers and some 9to1's and you will be very happy with the top end. You should hit 42-45 mph easy with that set up.

Re: 87 Honda Spree Not Running, Fuel Problem
When you clean the carb make sure you used compresses air. Use some carb cleaner and spray in every hole you see and then use the compressed air to blow any gunk out. Make sure to unscrew the air screw and spray cleaner and hit with compressed air. Put the carb back on and put your palm over the int...

Can't wait for the results. Do you want to try one of my bigger pilot jets for your dyne test? I warned you meatball when I was helping you trouble shoot your spree. When you saw the white spark plug and sent me the pic before you seized I told you to stop riding it. Remember the warning warning war...

Look to see if the carb came loose from the intake. Happens all the time.

A bomb
Crazy s*** last night. The next street over where I live a guy set off two bombs and blew a house up and chopped himself in half. They found his head in a tree. Blew a bunch of windows out including mine and also nocked everything off the walls. Crazy stuff.
