Re: Are these taiwan pipes a good buy?

Another thing I would like to add about this pipe. One thing I did not like is the angle of the tip. The mufflers blows hot air directly into the fan.

Re: How can I tell if theres a bbk on my scoot?

You are so right wheel. People do the strangest things when trying to get more speed. Everyone knows I lived in Vegas for a long time. The funny thing about Vegas is it is a 24 hour town. Has anyone ever seen what tweekers can do to a scooter. OMG some of the things I have seen.

Re: Considering a kymco bbk for sa50 some questions

G9 your comparing a 47mm to a 50mm bore. Bore a corsa to 50mm and then tell me the results. 90 miles at wot. Say if he was doing 60mph at wot then he rode it an hour and half at wot. Then why do you recommend temp gauges if the kits don't overheat??? Are you telling me G9 that italian kits never sof...

Re: Considering a kymco bbk for sa50 some questions

Your right wheel the 51mm Rumina was a lemon. That 51mm heated up to fast. If I remember correctly you had the 51mm on your stroker build but I can't remember what flash build that was. BTW I loved reading all of your build threads. On my first 2 50mm builds I soft seized them a few time to. I learn...

Re: Considering a kymco bbk for sa50 some questions

Really. If Taiwan kits suck so bad then why can people install them and get up to 8,000 miles on them without any port work? You guys all ran Taiwan bores at one time or another. G8 has a bike with a Taiwan bore in it. Wheel you have used Taiwan bores with good success. What about all the other memb...

Have you cleaned the carb and air filter. Sound like you might need to service it a bit. How long did it sit for?

Re: steering misaligned possible fork issue? 94 elite SR

Ok. Just do as I advised. If it is off by very little then there is a good chance the tips I suggested will work. You may have to slightly loosen the handlebar bolt to line it up.

Re: steering misaligned possible fork issue? 94 elite SR

Here is what you will need to do to check for a bent triple tree. You will have to remove the triple tree and use a straightedge to see if it is bent. I usually measure at least three areas on the stem of the triple tree. Is your headset aligning with front tire? There is a little play on the handle...

Re: Considering a kymco bbk for sa50 some questions

Thats a good kit. Just make sure you break it correctly. 24mm carb would work good. If your new at this I would get a temp gauge.

Re: 2007 Elite carb. problem.

Well I don't think it is a vacuum issue because when you hit the starter the gas flows good. Did you drain the tank and add fresh gas? Fresh gas is important. The idle screw is the the top one on the carb and the air mixture screw is bellow the idle screw. The air mixture screw needs to be 1 1/2 tur...

Re: Losses some power when hot, possible leak?

Are you loosing power everywhere? How are you lows? mid range? and top end? The reason I am asking for specifics is for example, if your loosing power in the first 1/4 of throttle but the mid range and top end is there then it sounds like the pilot might be to rich. Its easy to test. In general if y...

Re: 1985 Honda spree slapping noise and dies with new rebuil

The boost port needed to be cut on that gasket. It sounds like your old cylinder could have just run lean due to the oil line being kinked and thats what seized it. So you fixed that problem. Now your new cylinder sounds like it is soft seizing. So you need to pull the jug and take a look to see if ...
