Does it work with the guns we have? Is it more or less aggressive than the garnet I currently use?

Re: Project: Aratech

Speaking of paint stripping, the oil tank had oozed quite a bit it seems and the leaking oil combined with dust and dirt created an incredibly tough layer of crud on the underside of the frame and the outside of the transmission housing. I had to use two applications of aircraft paint stripper to ge...

i too am interested in an inexpensive blaster.
It works great. The issue is having a compressor with enough umph to run it for any appreciable amount of time.

Re: Project: Aratech

what kind of sand blaster are you using? I'm thinking of building my own cabinet for sandblasting. This is the gun I have- http://www.tractorsupply.com/tools/sandblasting-tools-accessories/sandblast-gun-with-hose-3434614 and this is the material I use- http://www.tractorsupply.com/tools/sandblastin...

This will be a journal tracking what I hope to be a unique scooter when I am done with it. It's not half as good a site as this one, but the only one devoted to those bikes.

Here is the meat and potato section of expressly mopeds-

Re: is there a nc50 forum half as good as this one .

I think it's expresslyhonda.yuku.com and I went through a bunch of work to get registered over there only to find out there is almost no content. I have better luck here so I stay here. I'm collecting parts to restore a GREEN 78 express . This site needs an NC50 section. I don't know about an Expre...

Re: Off topic - 1975 Yamaha TY80 carb issue

I revisted the bike this weekend and figured it out. I fixed that and ran the bike around the yard and churned up dirt and grass much to the deli...

Re: Off topic - 1975 Yamaha TY80 carb issue

air leak elsewhere. are you certain that the slide is in correctly? can you see it moving up/down from the back of the carb? intake manifold cracked? squirt with WD /brake cleaner while running and see if it changes revs. weather strip cement will seal it from the outside. allow to dry... leaking c...

Off topic - 1975 Yamaha TY80 carb issue

After putting it back on it starts up great but immediately revs to a very high rpm like the throttle is being held wide open. As far as I can tell the carb slide and c...
