http://www.jamescamerononline.com/car31.jpg Sarah Connor approves as well Yes very well indeed. The only female ive ever looked at and wanted to dance the court with. Maybe after all it was just the Elite 150 delux. Amen, her taste in scooters is enough to drive any man wild. One more question..wha...

Re: Elite 150 ...worth it for a short term daily driver??
I'm liking the sounds of this! Not going to lie, the pop up headlight was a huge draw. I once had a Ford probe with those, soooo 80's I love it. ok im going to see what this guy says, he had it at 400 and it sat for two weeks so i think thats a sign its been waiting for me. now to convince my better...

Elite 150 ...worth it for a short term daily driver??
So my car crapped out and I need transportation. I found an 85 Elite 150 Deluxe for $300, runs, probably needs a clean still, and just has some faded panels and a broken blinker lens. Is that a good deal? I don't see them often around here that's for sure. The streets around me are 45 mph, so is thi...

Re: Aero not turning over after minor crash.
Still sounds like a wiring issue to me....check the ignition coil again, check the kill switch, check the alternator, all pertinent things in the circuit to start. If you have checked the wiring, check again. If there is no spark, but the supply(battery) is fine, something is happening between it in...

Re: full throttle hesitation, only downhill
If you're stuck on the pods I say Godspeed sir. May get it to where you want it on a flat, but situations like the downhill will be hard to account for when tuning. But hey all this trial and error is half the fun of scooter tuning right?

Re: full throttle hesitation, only downhill
Agree with the stock airbox x100. My Aero ran funky when I got it with a pod, runs so much more consistent with the stock airbox, world of difference. More air carries more gas, but if the amount of gas it needs isn't there, the engine can't do it's thing properly, it just gets lots of extra air in ...

Re: Honda Aero nb50 to nh125 Swap Project
This is awesome. I'm dying to find a 125 locally and you found one for $100..grumblegrumble...:) very cool, excited to see how it turns out! I've bought 3 aero 125 scooters so far, passed up a few too. I'm always searching craigslist everyday waiting for good deals. People think they're sitting on ...

Re: Aero 50 - First Build
Nice score! If you haven't already downloaded it, here's a link to the service manual. Like benji said, stay away from the cheap carbs but I would stick with the stock keihin personally. Save those bucks for a seat cover or something :) It took me some elbow grease to get the gunk out of my 87 carb,...

Re: Aero not turning over after minor crash.
Check wiring. This happened to me before on my 87, without the crash, and there's a harness down by the oil intake that has a pretty hearty sleeve. The bystarter plugs in there's with a clip and there's a little bullet connector for a black and red wire for the alternator that came undone on mine. I...

Re: Aero 50 turn signal problems
I had same problem on mine and it was indeed the flasher, behind the front panel. As Benji says, you can find them very cheap at any auto parts store. 5 dollar, 5 minute fix

Re: '85 Spree will not start with electric motor
May be a long shot at this point, but I had a very similar issue when getting my Aero going. Problem was a dirty connection on the start switch and a dirty starter relay, allowing for a little to pass through but not enough to get the starter what it wanted to start. Cleaned both with a electronics ...

Re: The World at 37mph, or The Journey of My 87 Aero
Still living with the kickstand..haven't had much time for upgrades but a five minute one came in the mail. A Honda vision rear combo lights lens, all one piece instead of the two on the oem one for the Aero
