its a good Idea to always use a new base gasket and head gasket all the time when rebuilding. I also use the products below, Gasket remover to take all the gummy stuff left prior to rebuilding and I lightly spray each gasket on both sides with copper spray gasket high temp to make sure no leaks. tor...

My advice to you all is to first try to fit a dio (94-01 elite S SA50) motor first on the spree.
