Re: Honda Spree/Honda Elite

the frame and body on the elite 50 is larger and the the engine on the elite 50 is a true cvt trans vs a fixed on the spree. Don't forget the Elite E . It is transitional and still has non-variator drive train. Thats not called an elite 50.The only one thats called an elite 50 is the 87. I don't be...

Re: Daywot missing...again?

I believe you guys have talked me into giving Burnt Toast a shot on my next purchase. Looking to rebuild an AF16 and upgrade variator. And his prices are cheaper than Daywot.

Re: Moving to TX?

h-town is crazy humid. luney is right, dallas isnt that bad by comparison, but where you're coming from, it will defiantly be different. I worked in the oilfield between Austin and Houston several years ago, in another life. Yeah, big difference between Houston and Dallas. Same can be said for Corp...

Re: Honda Gyro

It ran good when it ran, but the carb varnished up a couple of winters ago while in storage and it needs to be replaced. It was rebuilt once already, and from what I can tell someone is offering one for the NN50 on eBay for $60 right now. A varnished carb need not be replaced. In the hands of a goo...

Re: Moving to TX?

Don't worry about the sweaters. You are moving at the right time of year. Once summer gets here, you'll be acclimated. Actually, I find Dallas summer not any tougher than Missouri Summer. Humidity is less and that makes a big difference.

Re: 80/90 question

the second number is the percentage of the width , it is the side wall. I was just about to post that very point, and you beat me to it. First number is the height. fightingplankton, the Spree doesn't allow much room for growth. Doubt you would be able to exceed 2.75x10. I just recently bought tire...

Can't help you on the 125, other than envy you. Love the color on that Helix. Mine is typical red.

Re: Stolen 94 Elite SR

I weep for you. Never had a scooter stolen, but have had my truck raided and lost a compound bow and archery supplies. To lose something by theft is a very personal thing, almost as though they stole your soul. Sad thing is that they may well have taken it across state line and to state which doesn'...

Re: Tazland 44mm prefers 68 jet

Weather has been miserable last couple of days. Spring came, but chilling rain and winds returned. Hope to get back on the project tomorrow. Yeah, I do need to do the plug chop. I'm hesitant to drill holes in the box, but may be necessary. Exhaust seems to be breathing okay. I'm suspecting the 78 wi...
