Re: Easiest AF16 swap
I've been thinking about a winter project and this sounds pretty sweet. Now to find a AF16 I can get for somewhat cheap. I do like the SE50's lines better than the SA50.

I second, or is it third, the search and read first approach. I have a low post count, because I read and listen to others. (over on the TotalRuckus forums I have about 175 posts, but have been a member for 7 years).

If you want speed, steer away from a Spree. Better off with an Elite or small motorcycle.

25-26 mph, you have a Spree. That's what they do. Bigger rear tire, 2.75x10, bbk and gears from Taz.
Others will chime in shortly with dude, swap in a dio!
Don't cut slash hack anything, make sure your air filter is good, stock air box, no pod.
Good luck and welcome!

Re: 1986 NQ50 Overheating
did you put the head on the right way, check for airleaks The kit I bought only had an EX on the top of the piston, which I pointed towards the front of the scooter. Is that incorrect? My compression is 100psi cold. As far as air leaks are concerned, I wouldn't know how to test for that exactly, exc...

Re: '84 Honda Gyro Fuel Leak
I did that on my ex-Gyro, drilled the rivets, tapped threads, put a new gasket in, but I couldn't find the correct gasket so it leaked again. I bought a new peacock from Honda, but some say it was the last one Honda had. $80 worth of last one. Don't know if it's true, so, you know.

A Little Rant on Selling Stuff.
I've noticed over the years that folks will put up stuff for sale asking X amount of dollars for them and then state, either right away or if they don't sell, that they will be scrapped/junked/tossed if they don't get what the are asking. Seems odd they wouldn't just send them to someone who was wil...
