Re: Most reliable, low maintenance NEW 50cc scooter? SUGGEST

There are no performance upgrades for the 2013 Metropolitan. Only for the 2009 and earlier.

A 2006-2009 Met out of the box will do about 35-38, some claim more, up to 50. Check out TotalRuckus.com.

I love pasties! I grew up on those delicious meat and potato delicacies! Spent half of my summers over in Gogebic County swimmin', fishin' and being lazy. I consider myself to be an honorary yooper. Being Finnish and all.

Re: Honda Elite SE50 (split from build thread)

Got my head, now where to get it shaved. Putting in my new shoes tomorrow, maybe I'll get a bit more speed since the front wheel was dragging with the debris from the old shoe.

Think I'm going to try the 6 gram sliders again tomorrow.

Re: Need Help removing and cleaning carb..

the videos I have found are really of no help to me in finding the carb/dissasembling it. Look for a metal thing between the air filter housing and the intake manifold. There will be hoses and a throttle cable attached to it.... ...if finding the carb has been difficult for you, then disass...

Re: Elite vs Zuma

why spend time on the zuma.. get a yamaha jog 92-01 and drop vino motor. :surprise: jog has many gear ratio. 7.1 to 12:1 I have seen exactly one Jog, that was in Spokane, the owner sold me the Gyro I rebuilt, plus one on CL here in Seattle, I have been over here for a year. They aren't very common ...
