Well, the obvious answer is to get it pressed out for 5 bucks somewhere.

Re: Flash 3.26 Revisited
Greetings: The pipe and rollers must complement each other. If the rollers are too heavy, they will prevent the engine from revving up to its best power and keep it under-achieving until the groundspeed reaches the point where the Vario maxes out. After that, the power fights the aerodynamic drag a...

Re: Trans tuning woes
Greetings: The triplet springs control the clutch engagement RPM, period. They don't fight the variator rollers, so they don't have any effect on your premature "upshift" issue. If you don't like launching like Don Garlits, swap to the unpainted ("Natural") Polini springs or you...

Re: Trans tuning woes
Sounds like you need a set of polini naturals and a 1000 or 1500 center. The heavier springs cause heat soak. Heavy springs need heavier weights. You will like the naturals. Trans tuning is a pain. What kind of pipe are you using? Excuse me for being a noob, but which springs are the naturals? Pipe...

Re: Trans tuning woes
one day i drove around going WOT everywhere and i swear it began to feel weaker. :coolcruise: This is exactly what it feels like when it's overheating. These units will get like RED-hot when pushed at WOT for a long time, and then they'll feel like they're being strangled. Mine one time melted the ...

Re: Flash 3.26 Revisited
Greetings: The pipe is a PG Short. The Long I had developed Loose Bafflitis. The short may be more durtable (?) And I cannot tell what if any performance difference there is on my unported block Corsa installation. Very interesting, as that is the same pipe i'm running. Mine tends to hold around 91...

Re: IBEA carburetors
Diaphragm carbs- stay the * away from them. Oh and 1 idle mixture screw, one idle speed screw. Just like every other carb. These thing are for airplanes and such that require a carb to work inverted, more problems than they are worth. I know because I ran a set of four of them on a race motor and f...

IBEA carburetors
Just stumbled across these online and thought they looked interesting! I noticed it has 2 AF screws, one for the pilot and one for the main. Cool! Anyone have the good fortune of playing with one? http://ibeacarb.com/ibea/ibea-l9-24mm-new/index.html http://ibeacarb.com/images/l7-groot.jpg http://ibe...
