It's a junk Chinese from the looks of it, 85mph is wishful thinking. The Ninja 250 carb aught to make it starve for fuel and run hot, and the Yoshimura exhaust should do even hotter. I'll bet that carb aint jetted. Very surprising if thats legit but I got a good laugh...

haha yeah it was too funny watching him ride it when the top end still held compression. it was weak but enough to run, it hauled him good at 33mph after I derestricted it with great pickup but he wants it to scream now

You should only have to remove the top valve cover to do so. It has like 4 8mm bolts in it, pull it off then follow the instructions in the manual. A feeler gauge isn't a bad idea for doing so.
