Re: New Spree owner, need some help.
I have bought 5 batteries on EBAY from Battery geek...24.00 shipped. These are gel batteries with a 1 year guarantee, he sells them for Spree, Elite, Aero, etc. I have not been disappointed with them. Yes, I get better deals on line than driving 3 or 4 places trying to find something.

Re: fan shroud
I am restoring an 85, and also an 86 Spree, the shallow shrouds won't fit either bike. I possibly have the wrong fans on these bikes, ( also bought on EBAY) .Whatever happened to honor?

fan shroud
I have bought fan shrouds off EBAY, said to fit 84 to 86 Spree, they are the right shape, and bolt holes line up, but shroud touches the fan before shroud can be bolted

Re: HELP! Piston circlip stuck to magneto behind flywheel.
I dropped one yesterday, and still haven't found it! Next time I try to install these monsters, I'm going to find a dowel rod slightly smaller than the circlip, slip the clip over it, hold dowel rod against the piston and hopefully, get the clip on without it flying away!

Re: Best Birthday Present EVER!
Happy birthday, and thanks for all of your help ( As you know, I ask a lot of questions) I got one of my parts Sprees going today, this was a total basket case,
in many pieces, I bought 3 of these for 50 bucks. Has anyone come up with a better wrist pin clip than the original?
