Re: Leo Vince pipe approx. jetting

On my '86 Aero with the 66cc(?) bore from Daywot, and the Leovince pipe with a stock airbox (NO holes!) I believe I am at a 95 jet. I can't recal for sure until I get home this evening and can verify. I think it is running a tad on the lean side, the sound of the motor, and suspected (very) soft sie...

Do I read this correctly, that I just need to correct flasher to work with LEDs (and my two or three pin connection) and I am all set?

Re: Yet Another Flash Filter

I bought one of these from Wiguy a few years back, but it never made it onto the scooter (still could I guess). With my constant fear of grit induction into the engine and the $0.25 size "filter" pads that seemed far too open to stop anything smaller than .177 BB I wasn't excited about the...

Re: LED Electrics for BL & TS?

Thanks Bear. Are we talking about the small match box like cube that clicks when the blinkers go as the relay? If so is there a direct replacement for LED blinker bulbs vs standard bulbs? I ask because I don't know anything electrical other that it smarts when I change out the wall sockets at home w...

Re: Is this elite variated?

I did the Ruckus variator on my Aero, a bore kit from Daywot on Ebay, and a Leo Vince pipe, plus a slightly larger rear tire and hit 48mph on a slight down hill with a full tuck. I regularly cruize around at 40mph with no issue. Getting the carb tuned was the most tedious task since small increment ...

Re: LED Electrics for BL & TS?

Thanks EG50,

Does direct for the brake light also mean direct for the running light?
How can I add load, or a relay for the turn signals?

Small words and simple sentences please, my electrical skillz are on par with... well lets just say I need a few mulligans.
If I do this right I will make a kit that will sell for about 200-250 for everything you need (the disc, lever, line, and caliper.
Put me on the list, as well as the roller list :thumbwink:

Ask them to take $50 off the price so you can get a new airbox

LED Electrics for BL & TS?

Any trick to wiring in LED lights for brake lights or turn signals, or are they direct connect (assuming appropriate connectors on the wires) to the existing wire loom?

Re: OKO Airbox Fine-Tuned For the Anal-Retentive

I think it's because the filter that comes with that air box is small and doesn't seal all the way around. You are correct, and I ride in the land of heavily salted road sand making every corner an adventure and every straight away a rear tire grit expelling blasting cabinet. I was worried about th...

Re: Gaskets!!

Not trying to hyjack your thread, but a few years ago someone was trying to come up with files to load into a Cricut machine to cut replacement gaskets. Did that ever happen?
