Re: Build "X" starts

I also followed Wheelman (a good guy to be following!) and purchased a set of these here front springs on Ebay. Spring_1.gif Not being at all happy that the goldish color would go with my slowing forming color scheme, I used my new favorite product (Plasti-Dip) and made them look like this. Spring_2...

Is that a standard pop rivet tool? If so I want to find these so called nutcerts, that seems like a handy addition to my seldom used rivit gun!

Remove the end of your vac line from the intake, try lightly sucking on it and see if fuel starts flowing. Your monster air filter may have opened up the airway so much that there is minimal vac to keep the percock open.

It looks like you have it hooked up correctly. With no oil in the feed line you are probably correct that premix is the way to go for now. I am sure you could post in the for sale/wanted section and find a replacement oil pump on the cheap!

That plug looks like it has seen some miles before you ran a plug chop. Try a fresh plug to get an accurate (current) reading

Breezy, this is certainly a fun build to watch and your skillz with the fiber and resin are awesome! If it counts for anything I think the carbon fiber racer is a great idea :geekdance:

I will be following this thread and hoping to see more of your body part forming process!
