Re: How to remove paint from scooter panel
Maybe I can just put a chair in the shower and go to town on it, then I don't have rinse, it'll just be constant flow. Do people wet sand in a tub of water? That would work too, never have to worry about burning the material.

How to remove paint from scooter panel
If you buy a scooter and somebody painted a dumb graphic on the side panel, is there an easy way to take it off without hurting the original finish below? Are spree and elite panels the same color through the plastic, or are they still painted on top, and if you sand or chemically strip the paint on...

Re: Buying a Spree, Jog and zx50 all this week.
The passenger side rear wheel is the spare, I blew a tire on my way to Madison, only took 10 mins to put the spare on, not bad. I spent an hour on the zx50, it had spark and 120-130psi compression, when I pulled the bowl drain, nothing came out at first, then basically pure oil sludge. I hooked up a...

Well this is the only picture I have so far. I picked up a stainless table that was in a burger king and the 2 scooters in the same trip.

Re: Scooter wheel chock, harbor freight?
Lol, thanks mousewheels, I wanted something quicker, but I guess you're right.
I'll work on the scooter trailer after I build my Bake Shop, after I build my car port. Did I mention I got married in October and my wife and I want to start having kids in june or July....... Not enough time in a day.

Scooter wheel chock, harbor freight?
I'm building a small trailer and want 2 wheel chocks on it so I can strap down 2 scooters. I'm wondering if anybody used a harbor freight motorcycle wheel chock and if it fits our small scooters tires in both width and diameter. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm just looking for an easy way...

Re: Buying a Spree, Jog and zx50 all this week.
Yep, they're a great engine. Pre 1992, the Jog had a vertical engine, in 1992, that went to horizontal and gave a nice under seat storage area. The first Jog I got would do wheelies from take off if you weren't paying attention. It didn't have a new variator or anything, just lean a bit backwards an...

Buying a Spree, Jog and zx50 all this week.
I'm a race fan, so last friday i started looking on craigslist for another spree to buy. They're light and perfect for a pit bike for my wife and I to go to Road America this fall. Sure I could load up one spree and an elite, but I thought it would be easier. I found a few locally and was going to b...

NEAT! never heard of that
EDIT......I ordered a cable luber and some pj1 lube. Can't wait to lube up all my cables. I've got like 5 scooters, might as well make them all work tip top.

Re: New addition, Gyro
i use WD40 on stif cables works a treat Do you just spray it into each end of the cable and work it back and forth? I've used this stuff called tri-flow in the past instead of WD40 and it seems to work very well. I think it has teflon in it. I wonder if the small red straw will fit inside the sleev...

Re: New addition, Gyro
Okay the flex hone came in, along with a spree coil/plug, used speedo cable and used brake cable. The speedo cable is free and operates well. The brake cable is a bit stiff. What is the best way to loosen that up? I've heard to submerge them in oil, wondering if there's a lube I can inject, or penet...
